چکیده
Metalliferous mining activities generate a large amount of waste. This waste usually has high concentrations pollutants such as metal(oid)s associated with the extractive processes, which, if not properly treated and reclaimed, put ecosystem population at risk. One most used techniques for mine reclamation is aided phytostabilization, which based on use plants that immobilize metals in soil/roots by amendments to improve soil properties favor plant growth. Although increase nutrients properties, concentration these nutrients—especially N, limiting nutrient—decreases over time. Thus, this study focused evaluation relationship between different combinations (compost, biochar, zeolite limestone) growth (we introduced Coronilla juncea Piptatherum miliaceum) evolution N time well influence C. fixation. The results showed addition improved characteristics all plots favoring P. miliaceum. compost provided higher total nitrites, nitrates ammonium due nature amendment biochar was less measure. limestone helped elevate pH controlled exchangeable ions. Soils from forms, suggesting legume contributes enrichment likely biological Hence, limestone-zeolite-compost limestone-zeolite-compost-biochar were suitable treatments improving fertility favored In addition, seems be good candidate reclaiming environments.

Sorption, degradation and leaching of pesticides in soils amended with organic matter: A review
The use of pesticides in modern agriculture is unavoidable because they are required to control weeds. Pesticides are poisonous; hence, they are dangerous if misused. Understanding the fate of pesticides will be useful to use them safely. Therefore, contaminations of water and soil resources could be avoided. The fates of pesticides in soils are influenced by their sorption, decomposition and m...
متن کاملMineralization of Nitrogen in Soils Amended with Dairy Manure as Affected by Wetting/Drying Cycles
Interest in manure management and its effects on nitrogen (N) mineralization has increased in recent years. The focus of this research was to investigate the N-mineralization rates of different soil types in Coastal Plain soils and compare them to a soil from Illinois. Soils with and without dairy composted manure addition were subjected to different wetting/drying cycles [constant moisture at ...
متن کاملPhosphorus Dynamics in Broiler Litter-Amended Soils
Because land application of broiler litter is commonly made in the spring before cropping season and in the fall, it is essential to understand how environmental variations, such as temperature, affect the phosphorus (P) dynamics. A laboratory incubation study was conducted at Waste Management and Forage Research Unit, USDAARS with the objective of determining the effects of temperature and soi...

Morera, M. T., Echeverría, J. C. and Garrido, J. J. 2001. Mobility of heavy metals in soils amended with sewage sludge. Can. J. Soil Sci. 81: 405–414. Sewage sludges added to arable land can improve soil fertility and physical properties. However, the concentrations of heavy metals commonly found in sludges limits their application to soil. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the mobility ...
متن کاملArsenic immobilization in soils amended with drinking-water treatment residuals.
Use of Fe/Al hydroxide-containing materials to remediate As-contaminated sites is based on the general notion that As adsorption in soils is primarily controlled by Fe/Al (hydr)oxides. A low-cost and potentially effective substitute for natural Fe/Al hydroxides could be the drinking-water treatment residuals (WTRs). Earlier work in our laboratory has shown that WTRs are effective sorbents for A...
